IF New Video Goes Behind-The-Scenes With Voice Cast

A new featurette for IF has been released, highlighting the ensemble voice cast for John Krasinki’s latest movie. The upcoming fantasy comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Cailey Fleming is set to hit theaters on May 17, 2024. 

The featurette showcases the cast in the recording booth, including the late Louis Gossett Jr. during one of his last moments. The late actor lent his voice to the adorable bear named Lewis. Check out the newly released behind-the-scenes clip down below: 

What is IF about?

After she discovers that she has the ability to see imaginary friends, IF will follow a young girl’s journey to reconnect abandoned IFs with those they once helped. 

“The film is about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends — and what she does with that superpower — as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids,” the synopsis reads.

IF boasts an ensemble cast

In addition to Reynolds as Cal and Fleming as Bea, the cast members for IF include Steve Carell as Blue, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Blossom, Matthew Rhys as Ghost, Matt Damon as Flower, Jon Stewart as Robot, Emily Blunt as Unicorn, Sam Rockwell as Guardian Dog, Maya Rudolph as Alligator, Awkwafina as Bubble, Christopher Meloni as Cosmo, Blake Lively as Octopuss, Keegan-Michael Key as Slime, Bradley Cooper as Ice, George Clooney as Spaceman, Amy Schumer as Gummy Bear, Sebastian Maniscalco as Magician Mouse, and Richard Jenkins as Art Teacher.

Apart from directing, Krasinski also wrote and produced the film based on his original idea. He also lent his voice to Marshmallow Man. Allyson Seeger and Andrew Form also produced the film through their Sunday Night banner, alongside Reynolds for Maximum Effort. George Dewey, on the other hand, is executive producing via Maximum Effort.
