Andy Samberg & Radio Silence to Team up for Upcoming Comedy

It’s been a big day for upcoming comedy movies, with it now being reported that Andy Samberg and Radio Silence will be teaming up on a new picture.

Deadline has revealed that Radio Silence — Scream filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett — and Samberg will be working together on an untitled comedy. The duo are set to direct while Andrew Lanham will write. Little is know about the film’s plot at this point in time beyond it being described as a “robot comedy.”

The untitled film will be produced by Samberg’s Party Over Here banner, with the outlet also reporting that the project is being developed as a possible starring vehicle for the comedian and actor.

What else has Andy Samberg worked on recently?

Samberg co-created the animated comedy series Digman! with Neil Campbell, who is also serving as the showrunner. The half-hour long comedy will take place in a world where archeologists are superstars with huge followings. It is executive produced by Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina, with Ali Bell producing. It hails from CBS Studios and Titmouse. It feature the voices Samberg, Melissa Fumero, Mitra Jouhari, Tim Robinson, Dale Soules, Guz Khan, and Tim Meadows.
