Lucy Lawless-Led My Life Is Murder Sets Season 4 Premiere Date

The fourth season of My Life Is Murder will have a two-episode premiere on Acorn TV on June 17, 2024. The comedy crime’s double premiere will also air on BBC America at 9/8c, according to TVLine

Starring Lucy Lawless as fearless private investigator Alexa Crow, Season 4 will still focus on Alexa’s quest as she tries to uncover “eight new mysteries” in “eight new worlds,” surrounding “eight diabolical killers that only Alexa Crowe can catch. This time, though, Alexa is set to bring “her friends and family along for the ride.”

What to expect in My Life Is Murder Season 4?

The Season 4 synopsis reads: “Tech guru Madison (Ebony Vagulans) is stepping up, contributing her considerable technical skills to Alexa’s investigations and the two of them have fallen into a comfortable mentor-mentee relationship. Though neither of them will ever agree on who is the mentor and who is the student.”

The synopsis revealed that Reuben (Joe Naufahu) will be stepping in, along with Will (Martin Henderson) and Detective Harry (Rawiri Jobe). As is the case with the previous seasons, her “cranky cat, Chowder, can’t help complicating everything.”

It also teased that the fourth season will see Alexa’s determination “to reveal the most carefully hidden secrets that crack the most bewildering cases. And, somehow, she and her fabulous whanau (chosen family) still have a bunch of fun along the way.”

My Life Is Murder Season 4 will premiere its first two episodes on June 17, with the following episodes airing Mondays on Acorn TV and BBC America.

In addition to starring, Lawless — known for her role as Xena in Xena: Warrior Princess — also serves as My Life Is Murder’s executive producer alongside Rachel Antony, Claire Tonkin, Harriet Crampton, Nicky Davies Williams, Pilar Perez, and Don Klees.

The first three seasons of My Life Is Murder are available to stream on Acorn TV.
