Knuckles Video: Cast Details Experience Working With Titular Echidna Warrior

Paramount+ has shared a brand new Knuckles video for its upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off series. It features the voice of Idris Elba, who reprises his role as the titular Echidna warrior.

The video shows the live-action cast, as they discussed what it’s like working with a “serious” and “professional actor” like Knuckles. It also features some new footage of the titular character. The series will start streaming on April 26.

Who’s involved in Knuckles?

Knuckles hails from head writer and executive producer John Whittington, with Sonic the Hedgehog director Jeff Fowler helming the pilot episode. The series stars Adam Pally (The Mindy Project), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Julian Barratt (Mindhorn), Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up), Ellie Taylor (Ted Lasso), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Stockard Channing (Grease), Paul Scheer (Veep), and Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital). Executive producers are Elba, Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara, with Paramount Pictures and Sega of America producing.

In addition to the upcoming spin-off, Knuckles is expected to return in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 later this year on December 20. The project had just wrapped its production.
