Bobby Lashley Voices Frustrations with Current WWE Limitations

Professional wrestler Bobby Lashley has had a solid stint in the WWE over the last few years. However, he recently expressed discontent with the direction of his storyline. Over the past months, Lashley, along with The Street Profits duo Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, has been embroiled in a fierce rivalry against Karrion Kross and The Final Testament faction, featuring Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering, and Scarlett.

A few years ago, Bobby Lashley was a dominant WWE Champion, achieving victories over Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37, as well as against Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, and The Miz. However, despite his past dominance, Lashley has not been involved in an exciting feud for over a year.

In the recent edition of WWE’s The Bump, Lashley expressed that he had felt handcuffed during this period in WWE. He talked about his desire to fight as well as his frustration at feeling limited in opportunities. He stated, “I’m excited about this weekend because I get to fight. You know, this whole year has kind of been…I’ve been handcuffed lately. I’m looking at the main event. Of the main event, there’s four guys in the main event. I’ve beaten three of ‘em. Not throwing it out there, just saying…this is my opportunity to go out there and beat up Kross and his boys, and then we’re gonna look at bigger things afterwards.”

Bobby Lashley set for a huge match at WWE WrestleMania 40

Even though Bobby Lashley has voiced his dissatisfaction with WWE’s booking, he’s still set for a major tag team bout at WWE WrestleMania 40. This weekend, Lashley will join forces with Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford, and B-Fab to confront The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, Rezar, Scarlett, and Paul Ellering) in a six-person Philadelphia street fight.

The feud between The Final Testament and The Pride factions has reached a boiling point. Both factions are determined to secure a victory this weekend.
