Blackpink Member Rosé’s I-Land 2 Performance Song Release Date Revealed

K-pop queen Blackpink Rosé will feature in Mnet’s and Black Label’s upcoming reality show, I-Land 2. The Blackpink star will collaborate with all twenty-four contestants for the show’s introductory song.

Before the premiere of I-LAND, Mnet revealed the list of mentors and hosts who will star in the show. The producers and performance directors for season 2 include BIGBANG’s Taeyang, dancers Monica and Lee Jung, and producers 24 and VVN. K-drama icon Song Kang will be the host of I-Land 2.

Blackpink Rosé will collaborate with I-Land 2 participants for ‘Final Love Song’

Blackpink Rosé will be seen in a performance video of the I-Land 2 track, “Final Love Song.” The video of Rosé and all twenty-four contestants will be revealed on April 4 at 6 p.m. KST/ 5 a.m. ET/ 2 a.m. PT. The song will also be available on music platforms in a different version. The official music platform version of the I-Land 2 track “Final Love Song” will not have Rosé’s vocals.

After the song’s release, Mnet X The Black Label’s I-Land 2 episode 1 will air on April 18 at 8.50 p.m. KST/ 7.50 a.m. ET/ 4.50 a.m. PT. The teaser reveals that the show’s second season will be an upgraded version of a K-pop reality show where 24 contestants will explore the identity of their artistic persona through various missions, including Blackpink Rosé.

I-Land 2 has also unveiled all the contestants participating this season. Some popular rookies competing in season 2 include Girls Planet 999 star Fuko, former YG trainee Lingkling, R U Next star Bang Jeemin, Produce 101 Japan The Girls contestants Tabata Nana and more.

For their introductory videos, Mnet divided the girls into four groups. Each group chose a song that suited the team’s style. They covered four songs: Sam Smith’s “How Do You Sleep,” BLACKPINK’S “DDU-DU-DDU-DU,” BIBI and Yoon Mi-rae’s “Law,” and Miss Elliott’s “Pep Rally.”
