Korean BL drama Jazz for Two episode 1 spoilers: Kim Jinkwon reminds Jee Ho-Geun of his late brother

Korean BL drama Jazz for Two episode 1 gives a glimpse of Yoon Seo-Hoon’s (Kim Jinkwon) family background. His father is a well-known classical pianist, while his brother has also won several awards in the same field. Seo-Hoon has been homeschooled for a year to make him better at classical music. However, he wishes to become a jazz pianist.

When he joins a new school, Wooyeon Arts School, Seo-Hoon is extremely excited. A day before his first day, he visits the school but gets confused with the directions. The two people who help him are Lee Da-Yeol (Kim Jae-Han) and Jo Tae-Hyun (Shin Ye-Chan).

After reaching the school, Seo-Hoon finds an old music room with a dusty piano. He starts playing jazz music, which grabs Han Tae-Yi’s (Jee Ho-Geun) attention.

Tae-Yi is a student at the same school and has only one friend, Seo Do-Yoon (Omega X’s Hangyeom). So when he hears someone playing in the same room, he rushes to have a peek.

Tae-Yi becomes furious, seeing a stranger playing music similar to his late brother. He holds Seo-Hoon by his collar and threatens him, “If I see you play piano here again…you’re dead.”

Aside from their bitter first encounter, Jazz for Two episode 1 also focuses on side characters. Song Joo-Ha (Kim Jeong-Ha) is a senior at Wooyeon Arts School. He has returned after completing his suspension period. He dislikes Tae-Yi because his sister likes him, but Tae-Yi shows no interest in her. Meanwhile, some tension can be felt between Do-Yoon and Joo-Ha.
