Stranger Things Season 5: David Harbour Is Back as Jim Hopper in New Set Image

As Stranger Things gears up for its final season, a plethora of images have been unveiled to amplify anticipation for the upcoming season. Now, Netflix has uploaded a new image, showing David Harbour’s return as Jim Hopper — a fan-favorite character since the show debuted back in 2016.

When is Stranger Things Season 5 coming out?

Production on the final season officially began earlier this year. Filming for Season 5 was initially meant to take place last year; however, due to WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes at the time, it was delayed for more than seven months.

As of this writing, the streamer has not yet announced the release date for Stranger Things Season 5. But while it may not arrive on the streamer any time soon, everyone is confirmed to come back together in Hawkins to mark the end of the Upside Down saga.

In addition to Harbour reprising his Jim Hopper role, a few familiar faces will also return for Season 5, including Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, and Joe Keery as Steve Harrington.

Stranger Things is created by Matt and Ross Duffer, both of whom also serve as showrunners. Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Patterson, on the other hand, serve as executive producers.

All four seasons of Stranger Things are available to stream on Netflix.
