Update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future

Recent developments have highlighted the uncertain future of Brock Lesnar within the WWE realm. This pertains to the probability of his return to the ring. Currently, Lesnar finds himself entangled in a lawsuit filed against WWE leaders Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. In fact, the lawsuit itself was made by former WWE employee Janel Grant.

The lawsuit alleged that McMahon had purportedly offered sexual services to an unnamed former UFC Champion and WWE luminary, strongly believed to be Lesnar. This abruptly scrapped Lesnar’s rumored comeback at the Royal Rumble, leaving fans doubtful about the wrestler’s future.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez hinted that inquiries had been made about bringing Lesnar back. He stated, “In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back.” Alvarez continued, “I should add regarding Brock. I’m not saying he’s going to be back. I have no idea if he’s going to be back. I wouldn’t bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see. It seems like a bad idea to me. Put it that way.”

When was Brock Lesnar last seen in WWE?

Besides Vince McMahon’s recent controversy, the recent lawsuit strongly implicates Brock Lesnar. Since the allegations emerged, the wrestling icon has vanished from WWE events.

The fallout from this legal saga extended beyond mere absence from televised events. Now, the WWE show intros no longer include Lesner’s appearance. This has also affected certain elements of video games by 2K, such as the omission of Lesnar’s image from game covers.

Lesnar’s last on-screen appearance within the WWE universe dates back to August 2023, during SummerSlam. He suffered a high-profile defeat at the hands of Cody Rhodes, amid the tumultuous developments reported by Bryan Alvarez. A faint glimmer of hope still remains, that Lesnar might find his way back to the WWE stage.
