Triple H Confirms The Rock’s WWE Elimination Chamber Status

Triple H has put the rumors to rest regarding The Rock’s appearance at WWE Elimination Chamber. Amidst widespread speculation that The Rock would surprise fans at Saturday’s event to set up a WrestleMania 40 showdown with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, Triple H clarified The Rock’s status.

Despite the buzz, The Rock is not advertised for the Elimination Chamber. But tension has been brewing between him and Triple H since the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press conferences, culminating in a heated confrontation.

During his appearance on the Xav and Michelle for Breakfast podcast, Triple H confirmed The Great One will not participate in the premium live event. He stated, “You are not going to see The Rock. I’m not gonna spin that because I don’t want people expecting that and not see that. This show will be spectacular, and nobody will miss The Rock. As this all came to be, his schedule is quite tight, as you can imagine. So we have him for a lot of events. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.”

With this confirmation, the intrigue now shifts to what WWE has planned for the Elimination Chamber. Also, it has to be seen whether there could be any surprise for the fans or not.

The Rock teased a WWE Elimination Chamber appearance

Triple H seemed to put to rest any rumors of The Rock appearing at the Elimination Chamber in Australia. Yet, The Great One has a knack for dropping hints about his WWE appearances. This weekend, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are scheduled to make an appearance on “The Grayson Waller Effect” during the Elimination Chamber. They will be discussing The Rock’s allegiance with The Bloodline.

The Rock had previously made a bold promise to visit Australia and confront Rhodes and Rollins if they dared to speak ill of his family, The Bloodline. He vowed to “slap the piss out of both of them.” This brewing tension has fans buzzing with the possibility of seeing The Bloodline face off against Rollins and Rhodes. This could potentially set the stage for a tag team match that could include all four superstars. Alternatively, in the absence of The Rock and Reigns, Rhodes and Rollins might take the opportunity to challenge them to a tag team match at WrestleMania 40.
