Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Max Release Date Revealed for Jason Momoa Sequel

Max has announced the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom streaming release date for Warner Bros.’ final installment to its DC Extended Universe film franchise starring Jason Momoa.

When is the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Max release date?

After nearly two months since its theatrical release, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will finally be available for streaming on Max starting on Tuesday, February 27. During its theatrical run, the sequel earned a worldwide gross of over $430 million at the box office, making it one of the lowest-grossing DCEU movies. Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, the film is still holds an Audience score rating of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on more than 2,500 verified ratings.

“After failing to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta wields the power of the mythic Black Trident to unleash an ancient and malevolent force,” reads the sequel‘s synopsis. “Hoping to end his reign of terror, Aquaman forges an unlikely alliance with his brother, Orm, the former king of Atlantis. Setting aside their differences, they join forces to protect their kingdom and save the world from irreversible destruction.”

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom was once again directed by James Wan from a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. The film also starred Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Amber Heard as Mera, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Vincent Regan as Atlan, and Pilou Asbæk as Kordax.
