Will Usher Perform at WrestleMania 40? WWE Superstar LA Knight Has a Request

WWE Superstar L.A. Knight is aiming high for WrestleMania 40, pitching for none other than Usher to play a part in his special entrance. Despite not yet securing his spot for WrestleMania, Knight has a golden opportunity at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Australia. He’ll compete in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. His victory over Ivar on RAW clinched his place in this high-stakes match. The winner is set to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.

Knight, who’s known for his “Yeah!” catchphrase, expressed his desire on WWE’s The Bump for Usher to perform this iconic track during his WrestleMania entrance. Megan Morant, the host of the show, reflecting on Usher’s Super Bowl performance, sparked the conversation about the potential WrestleMania 40 collaboration. To which Knight replied, ‘Wait a minute. Can we get this set up? Is he coming to WrestleMania for my entrance or what? I’m coming out and I’m performing ‘Yeah’ with him. Let’s go,’ he said.

The song ‘Yeah’ was released in 2004 by Usher, featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris and resonates with Knight’s wrestling persona. Usher recently gave a wonderful performance at the NFL Super Bowl LVIII, which only adds to the excitement around the potential of his WrestleMania 40 involvement. Setting the stage for what could be an electrifying entrance for L.A. Knight.

Potential match for LA Knight at WrestleMania 40

LA Knight, who recently earned his place in the Elimination Chamber, has his sights set on challenging WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. However, despite securing his spot, there’s speculation among fans that Drew McIntyre is the frontrunner to win the men’s Elimination Chamber match and challenge Rollins for the title at WrestleMania 40. This leaves LA Knight with the question of who his opponent will be on the grandest stage of them all.

Last week on SmackDown, Knight cost AJ Styles his qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber against Drew McIntyre. When Styles made his return in December, he also targeted the LA Knight.

Styles, who isn’t featured at Elimination Chamber, could cost Knight this match by interfering in the Elimination Chamber match. This interference might lead to a WrestleMania 40 showdown between Knight and Styles in Philadelphia.
