Kaiju No. 8 Anime Gets Series of Brand New Key Visuals

The official X account of Kaiju No. 8 anime revealed a series of new key visuals on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. One of the key visuals featured the main character of the series, Kafka Hibino in the limelight with his weapons drawn.

The expected release of this anime is in Spring 2024, with Crunchyroll announcing that they will stream the series internationally as it airs weekly in Japan. Fans can expect it to be available on streaming platforms like Crunchyroll after it releases on local Tokyo television networks like Tokyo MX and other networks.

The Kaiju No. 8 anime series is adapted from Naoya Matsumoto’s original manga series of the same name. It started serializing back in July 2020 on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus.

The new key visuals for Kaiju No. 8 featured two main characters; the protagonist Kafka Hibino and Shinomiya Kikoru. Masaya Fukunishi and Fairouz Ai are voicing the characters, respectively.

As per the visuals, Kikoru, one of the central trio of the series, could be the main subject of the illustration. This series will likely come out during Spring 2024 even though they have not announced a particular release date yet.

Nonetheless, the crucial staff members for this show were announced. Shigeyuki Miya is directing the series at Production I.G, which handles animation.

Ichiro Okouchi is looking after the series’ composition and screenplay. Tetsuya Nishio is the character designer and chief animation director. Mahiro Maeda is designing the monsters for the series and Shinji Kimura is the art director. Yuta Bando is composing the music for the series.

Studio Khara released the latest key visuals as they’re also in charge of kaiju designs and artwork for the series.
