Fight Night Cast Adds Terrence Howard to Kevin Hart-Led Heist Series

According to Deadline, Terrence Howard is joining Peacock’s new limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. Howard will star opposite Kevin Hart and Samuel L. Jackson. Howard will play Richard “Cadillac” Wheeler, a gangster and associate of the Council of 12.

Fight Night reunites Howard with Craig Brewer, who will direct and executive produce the first two episodes of the series. Howard earned an Oscar nomination for his performance in Brewer’s 2005 film Hustle & Flow. Brewer also directed and produced Empire, Fox’s musical drama starring Howard.

Howard recently starred alongside Dolph Lundgren in Showdown at the Grand, an action comedy film featuring a theater owner (Howard) defending his business from greedy corporate developers by any means necessary. Howard, who signed with Independent Artist Group in November, will next appear in Shirley, Netflix’s biopic about Shirley Chisholm (Regina King), the first Black congresswoman.

Fight Night is created, written, and executive produced by Shaye Ogbonna (The Chi), who also serves as a showrunner alongside Jason Horwitch (Echo 3).
