Terrifier 3 Director Shares Horrifying Art the Clown Set Image

Now that filming for Terrifier 3 is about to commence, director Damien Leone on Instagram shared a new behind-the-scenes image of David Howard Thornton in the makeup chair, teasing that “Christmas will never be the same” when Art the Clown returns for another blood-filled mayhem.

Scheduled for theatrical release on October 25 — just in time for Halloween — the director previously confirmed that shooting for the third Terrifier installment will start in February. You can view the new set image down below:

What can audiences expect from the upcoming Terrifier sequel?

While other details about Terrifier 3 remain close to the vest, it is already shaping up to be a holiday horror film to look forward to. Contrary to the first two Terrifier films, which were set on Halloween, Terrifier 3 will see the sadistic killer clown spreading madness during the Christmas season. And like the director put it himself, Christmas may never be the same when the film hits theaters this October.

In a previous interview with Deadline, Leone also confirmed that there will be new major characters that will be introduced in the upcoming horror flick. The director, however, didn’t reveal the characters but teased that Chris Jericho would be returning.

“This one is going to pick up where Part 2 left off, in the insane asylum, so, you’re going to see what transpires there, what mayhem unfolds, because seeing how Art and Victoria ended up, is so insane, and seeing how they get out of that situation and what happens next is going to be really wild,” said Leone.

Meanwhile, in an interview with MovieWeb, the professional wrestler said that he has already seen the script for Terrifier 3 and somehow confirmed that his character would be Art the Clown’s other victim.
