A Shop for Killers episode 3: Kim Hye-Jun recalls Lee Dong-Wook’s training to navigate enemies

A Shop for Killers episode 3 began with a flashback to when Jeong Ji-An was 17 and living with her uncle, Jeong Jin-Man. They were in the process of renovating their house when Ji-An asked for an extra window in her room. Jin-Man agreed even though he had to pay double. Until the house was fully renovated, Jin-Man took his niece to seek shelter in Jirisan Mountain.

The uncle-niece pair climbed the mountain, with Jin-Man terribly shivering due to fever and an injured leg. Ji-An got upset, stating that they could have gone to a hotel instead of exploring the mountain. However, Jin-Man explained that if Ji-An ever encountered danger, she would think of how to solve it immediately. She wouldn’t waste her time placing blame. Jin-Man took out a map and asked her to walk a few kilometers until she found a phone booth.

Ji-An left, taking her uncle’s advice and his slingshot. Meanwhile, Jin-Man was only pretending to be sick with the use of drugs to let his niece handle danger. When Ji-An reached the shelter, a hyena and a pack of dogs almost attacked her. However, she managed to ward off danger using her uncle’s training and his slingshot. While returning, Ji-An realized Jin-Man had a gun all along. The following day, he helped her with gun training.

The scene returned to the present when Ji-An and Jung-Min tried to battle enemies targeting her. This was when they encountered Min-Hye, who scanned Ji-An’s forearm to receive a green code on her watch. Ji-An discovered that there was code implanted in her forearm, and whoever receives the code has the duty to protect her. They escaped the attack briefly when Ji-An found a gun hidden under the sofa. She and Min-Hye warded off the attackers for the time being. Moreover, Min-Hye promised to help Ji-An discover Jin-Man’s true identity.

Min-Hye took care of the attackers while paving the way for Ji-An and Jung-Min. The only issue stopping them was a code, and Ji-An remembered her uncle asking her to remember her school ID number. She entered the number, and an elevator took them to the underground shopping mall. While looking at the items, including guns, they met Brother, who pointed a gun at them while exchanging greetings.
