The Boys Season 4 Character Details Tease Noir’s Surprising Return

Following the release of The Boys Season 4 teaser, Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled a few new details about what fans can expect to see from some of the characters, including Homelander, Butcher, Victoria Neuman, and more. In an Instagram post, The Boys also teased the unexpected return of Black Noir, who was seemingly killed by Homelander during Season 3. The superhero series will return sometime in 2024.

Who’s in The Boys Season 4?

The Boys Season 4 will feature the return of Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, and Karl Urban, along with Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, Simon Pegg, and Cameron Crovetti. They will be joined by series newcomers Valorie Curry (The Tick), Susan Heyward (Orange is the New Black), Rosemarie DeWitt (The Staircase), Rob Benedict (Supernatural), and Elliot Knight (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II), with DeWitt tapped for the role of Hughie’s mom.

“In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power,” reads the synopsis. “Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

Based on the comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the series is created by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, who are also responsible for AMC’s Preacher, and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke.

Seasons 1 through 3 are available for streaming on Prime Video.
