A Good Day To Be a Dog aired episodes 5 and 6 consecutively on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Starring Cha Eun-Woo and Park Gyu-Young, the K-drama is about a family curse that turns the members into a dog at midnight when kissed.

Han Hae-Na (Park Gyu-Young) triggered her curse in episode 1 when she accidentally kissed Jin Seo-Won (Cha Eun-Woo). Since then, she tried several ways to break the curse but failed miserably. However, the two grew closer. In the latest episodes, viewers noticed that Hae-Na and Seo-Won have developed feelings for each other. Aside from their story, A Good Day To Be a Dog also deals with a mysterious character, Lee Bo-Gyeom (Lee Hyun-Woo).

A Good Day to Be a Dog episode 5 ending: Hae-Na’s curse saves Seo-Won

A Good Day to Be a Dog Episode 5 shed light on the subject of school bullying. Jin Seo-Won catches a celebrity student and her friends bullying a classmate and recording the act. They try to shrug off the accusation by calling it a school anti-harassment project.

The school management doesn’t want to get involved even after Seo-Won’s constant requests. He opens up to Hae-Na that he was bullied in school. She uses her curse for good and helps Seo-Won in her dog form. She eventually saves him from being the target of the celebrity student.

While the two deal with the situation, Lee Bo-Gyeom (Lee Hyun-Woo) takes the road of violence. He shows some superhuman powers to scare the bully, making viewers wonder about his mysterious storyline.

Amid all the chaos, Hae-Na and Seo-Won also share some heart-fluttering moments. The K-drama‘s episode 5 ends with Hae-Na’s dog version staying the night at Seo-Won’s apartment with his nephew’s help. She wants to kiss Seo-Won in order to break her curse before the school trip. Unfortunately, she falls asleep and misses her chance.

A Good Day to Be a Dog episode 6 ending: Bo-Gyeom encounters someone from past life

A Good Day to Be a Dog episode 6 welcomes a new character named Min Ji-A (Kim Yi-Kyeong). She is introduced as a transfer student who is also a shaman. The eerie background music and flashbacks show viewers that she is a mysterious person like Lee Bo-Gyeom.

One of the flashbacks features Seo-Won from his past life pointing a sword at Ji-A. The episode ending indicates that Bo-Gyeom and Ji-A share a tragic past. Will the two create trouble for Hae-Na and Seo-Won? This is a question that will be answered in the upcoming few episodes.

Moreover, the lead characters land in trouble again when they have to search for missing students. As the search takes a long time, Hae-Na turns into a dog at midnight. She ends up in a ditch. Yul finds her and tries to help her but fails. Seo-Won continues to look for her the entire night and finally hears her voice around early morning. By this time, Hae-Na had transformed into her human form.

He saves her, treats her leg, and gives her a piggyback ride. A cute moment takes place between the two when Hae-Na tells him that she doesn’t have feelings for Bo-Gyeom. For context, she told Seo-Won in the first episode that she liked Bo-Gyeom.

A Good Day to Be a Dog episode 6 ends with the lead cast at a night market, looking deep into each other’s eyes. Hae-Na’s sister’s ex-boyfriend, aware of the family curse, clicks the pair’s pictures from afar. However, it raises the question – will Hae-Na’s secret come out in the open?
