Holy Family Season 2 Trailer Confirms Release Date

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming second season of the Spanish thriller drama Holy Family. The series, created by Manolo Caro, will premiere on the platform on November 17, 2023.

The hit series — also titled Sagrada Familia in Spanish — debuted on the streaming platform on October 14 and stars Locked Up’s Najwa Nimri as Gloria Román, Money Heist’s Alba Flores as Caterina, Elite’s Álvaro Rico as Marcos, The Communion Girl’s Carla Campra as Aitana, and Fugitiva’s Iván Pellicer as Abel.

What is Holy Family about?

Holy Family eventually became a hit since its debut on the streamer. It centers on the arrival of a new family in a peaceful neighborhood called Fuente del Berro. However, while Gloria (Nimri) and the rest of her family seem to be just a normal family, they are hiding a shocking secret. Gloria soon formed a friendship between different women — who are all mothers — in the neighborhood, but not until her dark past intervened.

“A family hiding a shocking secret starts over in Madrid, where new relationships complicate their plans and the past begins to catch up with them,” reads the official synopsis.

The Spanish-language series also stars Macarena Gómez as Blanca, Ella Kweku as Alicia, Álex García as Germán, Jon Olivares as Pedro, Laura Laprida as Natalia, Gemma Sole as Educadora, Patricia Garo as Ginecologa Marta Cobos, Pol Hermoso as Felipe, and Nicolás Illoro as Santi.

The show is written by Caro, Fernando Pérez, and María Miranda.
