The Marvels Box Office Prediction: Will the Movie Flop or Succeed?

The Marvels is headed our way and all eyes are set on its box office opening. Its first weekend will be a major factor in deciding whether it will succeed or flop for Disney and Marvel. So, here’s all you need to know about The Marvels’ box office predictions and projections.

How much money is The Marvels predicted to make?

The Marvels is reportedly tracking to make $50-75 million in its domestic opening and could end up with a total between $121-189 million.

The projections come via Box Office Pro, a reputable source for estimates. With that said, the figures should certainly still be taking with a pinch of salt.

Before The Marvels, the MCU went through a success with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 but faced a major debacle with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Ant-Man 3 got a strong start at the box office with a reported $106 million domestic opening (per Box Office Mojo) but suffered a major drop as it only managed to make $214.5 million in its final domestic tally.

With a reported budget of around $200 million, Quantumania seems to have struggled make its money back despite earning $476 million worldwide. So, things certainly look tough for The Marvels, which is tracking for a far more inferior opening. Its $50-75 million opening projections and $121-189 million total domestic forecasts are also much less than Captain Marvel’s $153 million opening and $426 million total domestic intake.

A recent rumor of a last-minute surprise addition to the film could help amplify excitement for the movie, but it still may not raise the opening weekend numbers in a significant way.

Will The Marvels movie be a flop?

With a reported budget of $274.8 million, The Marvels certainly seems to have a hill to climb to be successful.

However, it’s possible that the movie will outperform and deliver better results than the projected figures. With the movie launching on November 10, it’s only a matter of time before the box office numbers are revealed.
