The Marvels International Trailer Explains How the Superhero Trio’s Powers Work

The Marvels international trailer for Marvel Studios’ newest superhero movie has arrived online, featuring lots of new footage highlighting the titular trio’s switching powers.

The video finally clarifies how Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Captain Monica Rambeau’s light-related powers work and differ from each other. It also shows extended footage of Ms. Marvel Season 1’s post-credits scene, where Carol Danvers suddenly ends up at Kamala’s house after switching places for the first time.

What to expect in The Marvels?

“Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence,” reads the synopsis. “But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman) from a screenplay by Megan McDonnell. Leading the movie are Oscar winner Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, WandaVision breakout star Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. They will be joined by MCU vet Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Zawe Ashton as Dar-Benn, and popular South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on November 10.
