V/H/S 85 Poster Rewinds to the ’80s

V/H/S 85, the latest installment in the found footage horror anthology series, is just around the corner and the movie has a brand new ’80s-inspired poster out.

Created by Creepy Duck Design, the skull design implemented in the art of each entry in the series gets a 1980s makeover with a neon computerscape and an ominous portal.

In V/H/S 85, an ominous mixtape blends never-before-seen snuff footage with nightmarish newscasts and disturbing home video to create a surreal, analog mashup of the forgotten 80s.

The segments this time will be directed by David Bruckner (The Night House, Hellraiser), Scott Derrickson (Sinister, The Black Phone), Mike Nelson (Wrong Turn), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell, Satanic Hispanics), and Natasha Kermani (Lucky).

V/H/S 85 is the sixth film in the V/H/S series which first began in 2012. Over the years it’s featured a host of genre directors such as Adam Wingard (You’re Next), Matt Bettinelli-Olpin (Scream VI), Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes For Us), Johannes Roberts (The Strangers), and Gareth Evans (The Raid).

You can witness a new selection of found footage terrors when V/H/S 85 arrives on Shudder on October 6, 2023.
