The Bikeriders Photo Unveils First Look at Austin Butler in ’60s-Set Drama

20th Century Studios has released a photo for The Bikeriders, its upcoming star-studded drama centered on a Midwestern motorcycle club in the 1960s. The photo provides a first look at Oscar nominee Austin Butler’s character Benny.

The film will host its world premiere on August 31 at the Telluride Film Festival. It is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 1.

Who’s the cast of The Bikeriders?

Inspired by Danny Lyon’s 1967 photography book of the same name, The Bikeriders is written and directed by Jeff Nichols. The film stars Tom Hardy (Venom), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Austin Butler (Elvis), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Michael Shannon (Revolutionary Road), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Toby Wallace (The Society), Karl Glusman (The Neon Demon), Mike Faist (West Side Story), Damon Herriman (Justified), Emory Cohen (The OA), Beau Knapp (Southpaw), and Happy Anderson (Mindhunter).

“Seen through the lives of its members, the club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life,” reads the synopsis.

Executive producers are Fred Berger, Sam Hanson, David Kern, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer with Arnon Milchan, Kierke Panisnick, and Donald Sparks producing.
