Leos Carax’s Next Movie C’est Pas Moi Features a Short Runtime

Director Leos Carax has shared new information on his upcoming movie C’est Pas Moi.

The French director has helmed movies like Boy Meets Girl, Holy Motors, and Annette. He has shot his next movie C’est Pas Moi, which translates to It’s Not Me. At the Lima Film Festival, he confirmed that the film would be under an hour long. It is still said to be feature-length, meaning it is between 40-60 minutes.

He spoke with enthusiasm about the “essay” film, saying it is cheap, free, and “without pressures.”

“A self-portrait of the director and his oeuvre, revisiting in free-form more than 40 years of the author’s filmography,” reads the logline. He writes, directs, and stars in the film across Denis Lavant.
