The Flash Premiere Ezra Miller Comment: What Did They Say on the Red Carpet?

Ezra Miller made a public appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of DC Studios’ The Flash after they had been absent from the public eye for nearly two years. Despite their troubled past, Miller received a warm reception from fans. What happened during Miller’s appearance on The Flash red carpet? And what did they say?

What did Ezra Miller say on the red carpet?

Miller expressed admiration for director Andy Muschietti’s work and thanked him for his contribution to the film. They also thanked Warner Bros. and DC Studios for their “discernment and care.”

Miller’s legal troubles began in 2020 when a video showed them apparently choking a woman outside a bar in Iceland. However, no charges were filed in that incident. Their police record includes being arrested twice in Hawaii, once for disorderly conduct and harassment. On that occasion, Miller paid a fine for disorderly conduct while the harassment charge was dismissed. Among other things, the actor was also charged with felony burglary in Stamford, Vermont, in connection with a robbery at a private residence in August 2022.

Miller first appeared as Barry Allen / The Flash in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. They then returned in 2016’s Suicide Squad and in both Justice League and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Miller also reprised the character in a Peacemaker episode, although it’s an uncredited cameo.

The upcoming Flash movie is expected to launch the new era of the DC Universe, now with Marvel Cinematic Universe veteran James Gunn as its lead. In addition to Miller, the upcoming movie stars Ron Livingston, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, and Sasha Calle, among others. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck are also expected to reprise their roles as Bruce Wayne / Batman in different iterations of The Dark Knight. The Flash will rush into theaters on June 16.
