Loki Season 2 to Reportedly Feature More Jonathan Majors Than Season 1

It sounds like Loki fans who have enjoyed Jonathan Majors’ portrayal of He Who Remains and Kang the Conqueror may be getting even more of Majors in the upcoming second season.

A recent report from The Cosmic Circus notes that the actor will have “a far more present role” in Loki Season 2, as he is “expected to appear in at least three episodes.”

This makes sense given the second post-credits scene from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which showed Loki and Mobius watching a presentation by Victor Timely — another Kang variant who was played by Majors.

The outlet also notes that other Kang variants could appear in the new season since it will follow Loki and Mobius travelling across timelines. The Cosmic Circus then clarified that their source said that the main three Kang variants from Quantumania‘s first post-credits scene are unlikely to appear, but will likely be mentioned and referenced since the TVA’s myth of the Time Keepers was based on them.

Set after the events of Avengers: EndgameLoki Season 1 featured the return of the God of Mischief after he’s arrested by the Time Variance Authority due to the damage he had done to the timeline. Season 2 hails from head writer and executive producer Eric Martin. The new installment will be executive produced by Martin, Hiddleston, and Season 1 head writer Michael Waldron.
