Devotion Paramount+ & Digital Release Date Announced

The Devotion Paramount+ and digital release date have been set, and fans will only have to wait a few days.

On Sunday, January 8, the streaming service (sign-up for Paramount+ here) will add Devotion, the exciting aerial war drama set during the Korean war, to its available content. Additionally, the movie will be available to purchase on digital. The movie had its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, followed by its theatrical release on November 23, 2022. In spite of the good reviews it received, Devotion only grossed $20 million during its theatrical run, falling short of matching its $90 million production budget.

Described as an aerial war epic, Devotion is based on Adam Makos’ book of the same name. It stars Jonathan Majors (Lovecraft Country) as Jesse Brown, Glen Powell (Hidden Figures) as Tom Hudner, Joe Jonas (Camp Rock) as Marty Goode, Christina Jackson as Daisy Brown, and Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom) as Dick Cevoli.

“The film tells the harrowing true story of two elite US Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War,” reads the synopsis. “Their heroic sacrifices would ultimately make them the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.”

J.D. Dillard directed Devotion from a screenplay by Jake Crane and Jonathan A.H. Stewart. It is produced by Molly Smith, Rachel Smith, Thad Luckinbill, and Trent Luckinbill, with Dillard and Powell serving as executive producers.
