Some new adventures set in the urban city of Zootopia will debut this week.
On Wednesday, November 9, Disney+ (sign-up for Disney+ here) will release Zootopia+, six new shorts that will expand the story presented in 2016’s Academy Award winner Zootopia. All six stories will debut at once. The new series is produced by Nathan Curtis and will see Trent Correy and Josie Trinidad behind the camera. The six installments are titled “Hopp on Board,” “The Real Rodents of Little Rodentia,” “Duke the Musical,” “The Godfather of the Bride,” “So You Think You Can Prance,” and “Dinner Rush.”
“Zootopia+ heads back to the fast-paced mammal metropolis of Zootopia in a short-form series that dives deeper into the lives of some of the Oscar-winning feature film’s most intriguing residents, including Fru Fru, the fashion-forward arctic shrew; ZPD dispatcher Clawhauser, the sweet-toothed cheetah; and Flash, the smiling sloth who’s full of surprises,” reads the logline.
