Kevin Feige Announces When MCU Phase 4 Ends, Phase 5 Begins

During Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige confirmed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 would end later this year.

The panel opened with Feige revealing that Phase 4 — which had begun with the Disney+ series WandaVision — would come to an end later this year, with the Disney+ series She-Hulk and the upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The news puts a close to a phase that stretched across two years, and featured a variety of new characters entering the world of the MCU.

Alongside the close of Phase 4, Feige also confirmed that Phase 5 would be ushered in by the highly anticipated Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will premiere on February 17, 2023. Feige then continued to surprise the crowd by unveiling all of the currently planned Phase 5 slate, which includes six new Disney+ series and five new movies.
