Euphoria Season 3 Renewal Officially Announced by HBO

Euphoria Season 3 is now official for HBO’s hit show starring Zendaya in the lead role of Rue.

“Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken Season 2 to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart,” announced Francesca Orsi, executive vice president, HBO Programming, in a statement announcing Euphoria Season 3. “We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into Season 3.“

Based on an Israeli series of the same name, Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they struggle to move through the worlds of drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship.

The ensemble cast also includes Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Barbie Ferreira, Storm Reid, Sydney Sweeney (Sharp Objects), Algee Smith, Jacob Elordi,  Austin Abrams,  Eric Dane, and Nika King. Joining the new season are Javon Walton and Dominic Fike.

Euphoria is created and written by Sam Levinson, who is also executive producing with Zendaya, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and original creators Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.

Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Mirit, Toovi, Yoram Mokadi, and Gary Lennon are executive producing, with Kenneth Yu, Ashley Levinson, Harrison Kreiss, and Julio Perez serving as co-producers.
