2022 Golden Globe Nominees Officially Announced

The full list of nominees for the forthcoming 2022 Golden Globe Awards was announced this morning by Snoop Dogg and HFPA president Helen Hoehne. Leading the film category with 17 nominations is Netflix, while HBO/HBO Max dominated the television category after earning 15 nominations.  Check out the full list of nominations below!

The 79th Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 9, 2022. The ceremony won’t be televised for the first time in over a decade, following NBC’s announcement last May where they’ve expressed their support in a multi-media boycott of the HFPA over the organization’s lack of membership diversity. Since the issue, the HFPA has completely reformed its bylaws by implementing sweeping changes from top to bottom that address ethics and code of conduct, diversity, equity and inclusion, governance, membership, and more.

“For the past eight months, we have worked tirelessly as an organization to be better,” Hoehne said during her remarks. “We also have 21 new members, the largest and most diverse in our 79-year-old history. Not only have they brought in a fresh perspective, but ideas that will help us continue to evolve.”
