Sing 2 Final Trailer Debuts Ahead of Christmas Release

Universal Pictures and Illumination have dropped the final trailer for the forthcoming musical animated film Sing 2, featuring the return of its star-studded voice cast including Matthew McConaughey, Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon, and more. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 22, just in time for the holidays.

The Sing 2 final trailer teases Buster and his talented performers’ biggest show of their careers as they try to prove to a bully that they got what it takes to achieve their Redshore City dreams. It also highlights the individual challenges that Johnny and Rosita must face as they each try new things for their performances.

The animated sequel features an all-star ensemble including returning voice cast, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Garth Jennings, and Nick Offerman along with new cast members Bono, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric Andre, and Chelsea Peretti.

“In Sing 2, Buster has turned the New Moon Theater into a local hit, but Buster has his eyes on a bigger prize: Debuting a new show at the Crystal Tower Theater in glamorous Redshore City. But with no connections, Buster and his cast — including harried mother pig Rosita, rocker porcupine Ash, earnest gorilla Johnny, shy elephant Meena and, of course, porcine provocateur Gunter— have to sneak their way into the world-famous Crystal Entertainment offices, run by ruthless mogul wolf Jimmy Crystal,” reads the synopsis.
