Sing 2 Trailer: Dream Big Dreams in Illumination’s All-Star Sequel

Universal Pictures and Illumination have released a brand new Sing 2 trailer for the upcoming musical animated sequel, which is slated to arrive in theaters on December 22.

The Sing 2 trailer features a new rendition of a classic U2 song “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” expected to be performed by Scarlett Johansson and Bono’s characters. It also highlights the new challenges that Buster Moon, Rosita, and Johnny must face in order to achieve their Redshore City dreams.

The animated sequel features an all-star ensemble including returning voice cast, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Garth Jennings, and Nick Offerman along with new cast members Bono, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric Andre, and Chelsea Peretti.

“In Sing 2, Buster has turned the New Moon Theater into a local hit, but Buster has his eyes on a bigger prize: Debuting a new show at the Crystal Tower Theater in glamorous Redshore City. But with no connections, Buster and his cast — including harried mother pig Rosita, rocker porcupine Ash, earnest gorilla Johnny, shy elephant Meena and, of course, porcine provocateur Gunter— have to sneak their way into the world-famous Crystal Entertainment offices, run by ruthless mogul wolf Jimmy Crystal,” reads the synopsis.
