Exclusive: Clarice Behind-the-Scenes Clip Featuring Nick Sandow

ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive Clarice behind-the-scenes clip ahead of the crime drama’s Season 1 DVD release on October 5 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment (pre-order here).

The clip features executive producer Elizabeth Klaviter and star Nick Sandow discussing the inner workings of his character, Murray Clarke.

The clip comes from the DVD’s bonus feature VICAP Views, where “fans follow the VICAP team, the FBI violent crimes task force that Clarice Starling (Rebecca Breeds) is assigned, alongside the cast, writers, and producers,” according to the full bonus feature’s description. “The behind-the-scenes featurette explores the season’s overall story arc, how showrunner Elizabeth Klaviter and her team kept the scripts engaging with subplots and slow reveals, how the writers kept the story fresh and surprising, and how the cast adapted the scripts and developed their characters throughout season one.”

Set in 1993, six months after the events of The Silence of the Lambs, Clarice is a deep dive into the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high stakes political world of Washington, D.C.

The first season, streaming on Paramount+, stars Rebecca Breeds (Pretty Little Liars), Kal Penn (Designated Survivor), Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead), Nick Sandow (Orange Is the New Black), Lucca De Oliveira (SEAL Team), Marnee Carpenter (Criminal Minds), and Devyn A. Tyler (The Purge). Jayne Atkinson (Criminal Minds), Shawn Doyle (The Expanse), and Tim Guinee (Homeland) star in recurring/guest roles.
