Nope Poster Teases Jordan Peele’s Newest Horror Feature

Acclaimed writer-director Jordan Peele took to Twitter to share the first official poster for his highly-anticipated horror thriller movie which has now been confirmed to be titled as Nope. The poster, which you can check out below, seemingly highlights a dark cloud with a colorful banner string hovering on top of a mountain field. It will be interesting to see how these things will relate to the mysterious project, but it sure does teases Peele’s newest terror.

Nope will be led by Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, who is officially reuniting with Peele following the successful release of 2017’s Get Out. Joining him are Keke Palmer (Hustle), and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun (Minari), who is no stranger to the horror genre after previously starring in The Walking Dead. Further details about the project’s plot and characters are still being kept under wraps, but like Peele’s first two directorial features, it is expected to be a psychological horror-thriller laced with socially conscious themes in regards to race and society.

The film is written and directed by Jordan Peele, who previously earned an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial feature debut Get Out. Before the upcoming film, he had also directed 2019’s Us starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke. He is also serving as the co-writer and executive producer in Universal Pictures’ upcoming Candyman remake, which will debut next month.
