The premiere of Disney’s upcoming series Loki is fast approaching, and ahead of its launch, two new teaser trailers have been released for the show.

The first trailer sees Loki being questioned by Owen Wilson’s character, Mobius M. Mobius, on what makes the god of mischief tick. Some more clips from the series are shown before a member of Time Variance Authority calls Loki a “cosmic mistake,” setting the stage for the tone of the series.

In the second trailer, Loki is briefed on what he has to do in order to earn his second chance, namely joining up with the TVA and working with them to travel across different places in time to help keep the flow correct. It’s still unclear just what Loki will do once he’s been given some freedom by the TVA, but the tricky character always seems to have a trick up his sleeve.

Joining Hiddleston in Marvel Studios’ third MCU series are Sophia Di Martino (YesterdayFlowersInto the Badlands), Owen Wilson (The Royal Tenenbaums), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Black Mirror: San Junipero), Cailey Fleming (The Walking Dead), and Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Sasha Lane (American Honey) and Wunmi Mosaku (Lovecraft Country).

All upcoming six episodes of Loki are directed by Kate Herron from a screenplay coming from head writer Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty). Waldron is also the scribe for Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which Loki will reportedly have ties into just like with WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Executive producers are Herron, Kevin Feige, Louis D’ Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Stephen Broussard.
