Kathy Baker and Amanda Crew Join The Age of Adaline

The cast of the upcoming romantic drama The Age of Adaline has been rounded out with the addition of Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actress Kathy Baker (Edward Scissorhands, “Picket Fences”) and Amanda Crew (The Haunting in Connecticut, Sex Drive) it was announced today by Lionsgate, Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment, who are producing the film. Baker and Crew join previously announced stars Blake Lively, Academy Award-nominated actor Harrison Ford, Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn, and Michiel Huisman.

The Age of Adaline follows the miraculous life of 29-year old Adaline, who stops aging after recovering from a near-fatal accident. Over the course of the 20th century she embarks on an epic but isolated worldwide journey keeping her secret until she meets a man who forever alters her life.

The original screenplay was written by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz, with revisions by Allison Burnett. The Age of Adaline will be produced by Sidney Kimmel, Tom Rosenberg, and Gary Lucchesi. Jim Tauber and Eric Reid will executive produce.

Principal photography began in March, and Lionsgate is set to release the film in the US.
