Apple Workplace Drama Severance Adds Christopher Walken to Cast

Just a few days after adding two-time Golden Globe nominee John Turturro (The Night Of) to its cast, Apple TV’s workplace drama Severance has rounded out its ensemble roster with the addition of Oscar winner Christopher Walken (The War With Grandpa), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Severance takes place at Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level. Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation, The Twilight Zone) will start as Mark, an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together, with Patricia Arquette (The Act, Escape at Dannemora) playing Mark’s boss. John Turturro (The Batman, The Jesus Rolls) will star as Irving, a longtime, dependable employee at Lumen Industries.

The 77-year-old Deer Hunter star is set to play Burt, the head of optics and design at the company.

The series will also star Britt Lower (Man Seeking Woman) as Helly, a woman who struggles to find peace with the decision she made to do the severance procedure, Tramell Tillman (Dietland) as Milchick, an intensely earnest employee at Lumen Industries, Jen Tullock (Before You Know It, 6 Balloons) as Mark’s sister Devon and Zach Cherry (Most Dangerous Game, You, I Feel Bad) as Dylan, one of Mark’s employees.

Ben Stiller is attached to direct with Dan Erickson serving as write and executive producer. Chris Black will also executive produce along with Stiller, Nicky Weinstock, and Jackie Cohn of Stiller’s Red Hour Productions. Endeavor Content will produce. Scott and Arquette are set to serve as producers in addition to starring.

Production on Severance will begin sometime next month.
