Connie Britton Returns to 9-1-1 for Season 3 Finale

According to Deadline, Connie Britton is returning to the Fox drama 9-1-1 for the two-part series finale that will air on May 4 and May 11.

Britton played 911 operator Abby Clark in the first season of 9-1-1, but never returned and was instead replaced by Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character Maddie Kendall in Season 2. The character left for Ireland at the end of Season 1, leaving behind a string of loose ends that will undoubtedly come into play during her return. Notably, her relationship with firefighter Buck (Oliver Stark), who has now forged a deep relationship with Eddie (Ryan Guzman).

Do I need to help Buck out? What is he going through?”
