Variety is reporting that HBO Max is developing a new anthology series titled Point Horror, based on the Scholastic book series.

The series will expose the horrors of being a teenager, with each episode inspired by one of the books in the series, told for today’s audiences but with a nostalgic nod to the 1990s.
