Lucifer, Season 4 Premiere: Continuing his story on the streaming site, Lucifer will face a new challenge this season as he reels from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face: Eve, the original sinner, is back. But does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… Or something else entirely? Find out when Season 4 launches on May 8.

The Society, Series Premiere: In this modernized version of William Golding’s 1954 Nobel Prize-winning Lord of the Flies novel, The Society follows a group of teens who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town, left without any trace of their parents. As they struggle to figure out what has happened to them and how to get home, they must establish order and form alliances if they want to survive. What could possibly go wrong? The new series, starring Detective Pikachu’s Kathryn Newton, will begin streaming on May 10.

Chernobyl, Series Premiere: HBO’s historical miniseries centers on one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history. On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, Soviet Union suffered a massive explosion that released radioactive material across Belarus, Russia and Ukraine and as far as Scandinavia and western Europe. Chernobyl dramatizes the story of the 1986 accident and the sacrifices made to save Europe from the unimaginable disaster. The miniseries premieres on May 6.

Amazon Prime

Sneaky Pete, Season 3: The new season of the crime drama finds con-man Marius Josipovic (Giovanni Ribisi) questioning who he is. He’s feeling a pull toward the Bernhardt family, but he’s not really part of the family. The chance to become more like a normal human being is enticing, but it also scares him to death. Season 3 of the Amazon series centers on all of the characters exploring their identity, which is a dangerous journey as they could lose themselves or their lives in the process. The story continues on May 10.

Renewals

The Chi, Season 3: Lena Waithe’s Showtime drama The Chi will be returning for a third season! The timely coming-of-age story centers on a group of residents who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption. The first two seasons of The Chi are available to stream on Showtime and Amazon Prime, with new episodes of Season 2 airing every Sunday.

Ramy, Season 2: Hulu’s latest comedy-drama follows a first generation Egyptian-American who is on a spiritual journey in his politically-divided New Jersey neighborhood. Co-created by lead star Ramy Youssef, Ramy will return for a 10-episode second season with the first season streaming now on Hulu.

PEN15, Season 2: The adult comedy is coming back for another school year as Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle will return for a 14-episode second season. Erskine and Konkle, who also created the series, play 13-year-old versions of themselves as they forage through the daily terror of middle school in the year 2000. You can check out the first season now on Hulu.

Cobra Kai, Season 3: Following Season 2’s record-breaking premiere, YouTube’s martial arts drama series has been renewed for a third season along with the announcement that all of the site’s upcoming original series and specials will be available for everyone to watch and enjoy for free with ads. Fans can stream the first two seasons of Cobra Kai for free beginning this fall.
