Santa Clarita Diet Season 3 Trailer: True Love Never Dies?

Netflix has released a new Santa Clarita Diet Season 3 trailer, featuring the Hammonds facing an eternity together or apart, putting a new spin on “till death do us part.” Check out the trailer below, as well as the official poster in the gallery (via Vital Thrills)!

In Santa Clarita Diet Season 1, Joel (Timothy Olyphant) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore) Hammond are husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Liv Hewson), until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction… but in a good way.

The renewal was announced back in May after the second season found the Hammonds trying to adapt to Sheila’s now-advanced undead state — even though she’s desperately working to hold on to her suburban lifestyle and not be defined as just another monster. Unfortunately — while the family had become markedly better at murder — the number of missing people in Santa Clarita is starting to pile up and it’s no longer going unnoticed.

The series stars Drew Barrymore (Blended, 50 First Dates) and Timothy Olyphant (Justified, Deadwood) as lovebirds Sheila and Joel Hammond. Through it all, the couple remain grounded by their unconditional love for one another. Sure, being undead — or loving someone who is — isn’t always easy, but don’t all relationships have their challenges?

Santa Clarita Diet also stars Liv Hewson (Dramaworld) as Abby Hammond and Skylar Gisondo (Vacation) as Eric Bemis. The series comes from showrunner Victor Fresco.

Santa Clarita Diet season 1 and season 2 are available for streaming on Netflix now, and season 3 will premiere on March 29.
