The Gang’s All Here

The Punisher Season 2 Episode 11

Karen arrives at the hospital and gains admittance to Frank’s room since Nelson & Murdock are still the lawyers of record assigned to Frank. Frank is still dealing with the deaths of the three women, saying that he’s the monster now and that he deserves to die. Amy arrives and lies her way into Frank’s room, telling him they have to go because every killer in the city knows where he is now and will want to collect on the bounty. Madani arrives as well. She’s not convinced that Frank killed the women, but would need to examine the corpses to be sure.

Billy calls Madani’s cell phone and taunts Frank, saying that Frank will have to spend the rest of his life with himself as the devil, in a hell of his own making, which Billy put him in.

If I Can’t Have You

The Punisher Season 2 Episode 11

Dumont asks Billy if he’s happy, if they can move forward now. Billy says the victory feels hollow. He still can’t understand why Dumont would want to leave behind all that she has built. They’re killers now. Those women are as much on her as they are on him. Dumont says that she would do anything for Billy because she loves him. Billy suggests that she only loves him because he is like another of her clients that Dumont loved but couldn’t save. Dumont says that yes, she loved the other patient, who was her father. He came back broken from Vietnam. The night that her mother said she wanted a divorce, he picked up his daughter and jumped with her out the window, saying that if he couldn’t have her then her mother couldn’t either. He died. Dumont lived and had to be rebuilt.

A Good Cause

The Punisher Season 2 Episode 11

Karen bribes her way past the coroner so she and Madani can examine the bodies. The women were killed at point-blank range by someone standing directly in front of them. Billy shot the women and left them for Frank to find and think that he killed. Another cop relieves the one guarding Frank’s hospital room. He’s come to collect the bounty. Frank is going to let the cop kill him, but Amy tries to fight him off. The officer chokes Amy, attempting to kill her, while Frank’s cuffed to the bed and can’t help her. Madani and Karen return and tell Frank that he didn’t kill those women. Frank tells Karen and Amy to go while he uses the cop’s uniform and leans on Madani to help him escape when Karen pulls the hospital’s fire alarm.

Mahoney passes Karen in the hall, noticing that she isn’t wearing shoes–she bartered them for entry to the morgue. He heads outside and cuts off Madani and Frank. Mahoney cuffs Frank inside an ambulance and drives away.
