Legion Chapter 10 Preview Released by FX

FX has released the preview for Legion‘s second episode of season two, Chapter 10, in which David meets his oldest enemy. Check out the Legion Chapter 10 preview below and you can also watch the battle scene from the season premiere. Be sure to share your thoughts on last night’s season two premiere in the comments!

Season one of Legion left off with David freed from the parasite Farouk — who is now inhabiting Oliver — before being zapped into an orb and taken, leaving the rest of the group without any idea as to where he has gone or who took him.

In last night’s season two premiere, David is found but without his memories intact of what happened to him. What feels like only a few hours to David has actually been a whole year, and he has a lot to catch up on, including finding out that Melanie and Syd convinced Division 3 — the government organization that was hunting the Summerland mutants in season one — leaders that most mutants are harmless, and the two groups have now joined forces in order to hunt dangerous enemies such as Farouk. Not only does David have to come to terms with the new changes, but how his relationships with the others, especially Syd, is now lined with distrust after he was missing for a whole year. Clark also informs David that Division 3 learned that Farouk aka the Shadow King “came to be” in the 1800s in Morroco.

The group’s new task is to find Farouk’s true body before the Shadow King does to prevent him from becoming unstoppably powerful. After attempting to recover his memories and locate Farouk — in an extended flashback sequence that involves dancing — David remembers a few details of what happened to him in the orb. He met an orb version of Syd, who David believes is the Syd from the future wanting David to help Farouk find his body. David also suspects that Future Syd is the one who sent the orb to take him in the first place, though his theory is not yet confirmed. In next week’s episode, the team continues their search for Oliver/Farouk as David’s memories — or delusions — become clearer as the mysteries unravel.

Based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion follows the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a man who believed he was schizophrenic but discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world. With help from a team of specialists, David harnessed his unique abilities and learned he’d been haunted by a malicious parasite. Now, David is all that stands in the way of Amahl Farouk (Navid Negahban) from attaining infinite and world-ending power.

Noah Hawley serves as Executive Producer, along with John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. Legion is the latest project from Hawley and Cameron, two of the executive producers of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning FX anthology series FargoLegion is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television, with FXP handling the physical production.
