Preacher Video: Relive The Saint of Killers’ Origin

Before Preacher season two premieres this weekend, relive how the Saint of Killers came to be

With Preacher returning to AMC this Sunday, the network has just brought online an extended video that explores the origins of the Saint of Killers. Comprised of footage from the first season, the 30 minute video reminds us why Graham McTavish‘s straight from Hell killing machine is going to be such a big threat in season two. Check it out in the player below where, naturally, viewer discretion is advised.

Based on the acclaimed comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher offers a supernatural and darkly comedic drama that follows a Texas preacher named Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by a mysterious entity called Genesis that gives him the power to make people do whatever he commands. Once this power attracts the attention of two mysterious angels, Fiore and DeBlanc, Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Academy Award nominee Ruth Negga), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

Preacher was developed for television by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (This is The End, Superbad, Neighbors) and showrunner Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad).
