Stephen Colbert Debuts Three New Late Show TV Spots

Three new TV spots for Late Show with Stephen Colbert

We’re a little over a month away from the debut of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and now CBS has debuted three new TV spots featuring Colbert waxing poetic on his Charlie Rose crush, doing card tricks, and hanging out with former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Check out all three below!

Look for CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to debut Tuesday, Sept. 8 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT), straight from the historic Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.

Colbert is, of course, best known for his late night satirical show, “The Colbert Report,” which ended on Friday, Dec. 18, 2014. The program earned two Peabody Awards and 29 Emmy Award nominations, including two Emmy wins for Outstanding Variety Series (2013, 2014) and four Emmy wins for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program (2008, 2010, 2013, 2014). Prior to that, Colbert spent eight years as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” as an on-air personality and writer of news satire for the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series.
