Justin Long Lands Recurring Role on ABC's The Conners

Deadline reports that Justin Long (Drag Me To Hell, Drunk History) has landed a recurring role on ABC’s Roseanne spinoff, The Conners. Long will play Neil, a love interest to Darlene Conner, played by Sara Gilbert, who is reprising her role from Roseanne. He’ll join David Galecki (The Big Bang Theory), who’s once again playing the role of David, Darlene’s ex-husband, with Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killersplaying his new wife.

On the new show, after a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. This iconic family — Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky, and D.J. — grapple with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America. Through it all, the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns — with love, humor, and perseverance, the family prevails.
