Premiere dates set for Marvel’s Runaways season 2 & Light As A Feather

Hulu has officially revealed the premieres for their upcoming shows with Marvel’s Runaways set to return with on December 21 for its second season while their new horror series Light As a Feather will premiere on October 12. Both series will premiere with all episodes on their respective premier dates.

The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.

The cast for the series includes Ariela Barer (New Girl, One Day at a Time) as Gert Yorkes, Lyrica Okano (The AffairUnforgettable) as Nico Minoru–tough, Rhenzy Feliz (Teen WolfCasual) as Alex Wilder, Gregg Sulkin (Faking ItDon’t Hang UpAnti Social) as Chase Stein, Virginia Gardner (GoatLittle Bitches) as Karolina Dean, and Allegra Acosta (100 Things to do Before High SchoolJust Add Magic) as Molly Hernandez. The O.C. and Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage serve as co-showrunners/writers and executive produce the series along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.

In Light As a Feather, an innocent game of “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board” goes wrong when the five teen girls who played start dying off in the exact way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’re being targeted – and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own.

The cast of Hulu’s horror drama includes Liana Liberato (Trust, If I Stay, The Best of Me), Haley Ramm, Ajiona Alexus, Brianne Tju and Peyton List. The series is an adaptation of Zoe Aarsen’s story, Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, which was originally published on the social networking site Wattpad. It is created and executive produced by R. Lee Fleming Jr. and is produced by AwesomenessTV along with Wattpad and Kelsey Grammer’s Grammnet.
