The song premiered to very positive reviews from critics and became a mass hit with listeners around the country, spending 35 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, including multiple No.1 spots, and has been featured in numerous series over the years including Sesame StreetOrange is the New BlackFamily Guy and Journeyman. To this day, it remains the group’s sole No. 1 single.

“It’s been more than a decade since ‘Hey There Delila’ was released, and people always ask me about it. A whole lot of people really connected with that song, and I’m very proud of that,” lead singer Tom Higgenson said to THR. “I’m so excited to have an opportunity to give a new generation the chance to form their own connection with the song, and fall in love with its story through this new project.”

Higgenson is developing Hey There Delilah with writer Jeremy Desmon and will be pitching the series with Desmon and the producers to multiple studios and network in L.A. all this month.
