The Romanoffs premiere date and teaser revealed
Amazon Prime has unveiled a teaser trailer for their new anthology series, The Romanoffs and announced that the series will debut on October 12. The teaser gives a preview of some new guest stars that were not previously announced like Noah Wyle (Falling Skies). Check out the teaser in the player below!
Created, written, directed and executive produced by nine-time Emmy award winner Matthew Weiner (Mad Men), The Romanoffs is an anthology series that focuses on people around the world that truly believe that they are decedents from the infamous Russian royal family.
The Romanoffs was shot in various exotic locations around the world that include Europe, the Americas, and the Far East; all the while using local production and creative talent. Every episode will feature a new location along with a brand new cast.
Along with Noah Wyle, other guest stars for the series include Kathryn Hahn (Transparent); Kerry Bishé (Halt and Catch Fire); Jay R. Ferguson (Mad Men); Ben Miles (Collateral); Mary Kay Place (Big Love); Griffin Dunne (Imposters); Cara Buono (Mad Men); Ron Livingston (The Conjuring); Jon Tenney (Hand of God); Clea DuVall (Veep); Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill); and Hugh Skinner (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again); Juan Pablo Castañeda (The Debt of Maximillian); Emily Rudd (Electric Dreams); Adele Anderson (Company Business); Annet Mahendru (The Americans); Louise Bourgoin ((I Am a Soldier); Hera Hilmar (Two Birds); and Inès Melab (Agathe Koltès).
These new guest stars will join previously announced cast member such as Diane Lane, Aaron Eckhart, Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jack Huston, Amanda Peet, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Mike Doyle, JJ Feild, Janet Montgomery and Paul Reiser.
The Romanoffs will be executive produced by Semi Chellas, who also serves as a writer on the series, and Kriss Turner Towner, Blake McCormick, and Kathy Ciric.
